I completed my first race today, The Snowman Shuffle 10K. I wasn't nervous going in or even trying to place and win a medal, BUT...I placed 4th out of 26 in my age group!!! I received my first medal too! I also beat my normal time by a little over 2 minutes. The race was fun and great experience. It was my last race to run in the 24-29 age group as I will be the big 3-0 this Friday, 1/16!

My weekly (Mon-Fri) miles start to increase this week just as my Saturday miles have been doing all along. My lower body is feeling the pain a bit but I am doing everything I can to keep from getting injured.
